The following clauses may be offered:
•Two-way: Causes the player to earn 30% of their full NHL salary while in the AHL. This has no effect on whether or not they need to clear waivers in order to be sent to the AHL.
•No-Trade*: Player cannot be traded
•No-Movement*: Player cannot be taken off team roster
Limited clauses are also allowed. These are a variation of the above clauses. For example, you could offer a NTC that is only effective for half of the contract's length. Any limited clauses must be approved by the head player agent.
In the event that a player with an NTC or NMC is traded before their clause takes effect, their upcoming clause will no longer be in effect (however, their new team may opt to keep the clause).
